On December, 2017 GRAPH team started to roasting by ourselves at Gateway coffee roasters. We can adjust and continue to developing after cupping tested. The roasting process is what produces the characteristic flavor of coffee by causing the green coffee beans to change in taste.
Besides coffee that important for us, we also enjoy making bakery and dressert in our own way to combine with our coffee. we will try to continual development.
Coffee cupping or coffee tasting start in house on December, 2016 is the practice of observing the tastes and aromas of brewed coffee. It is a professional practice but can be done informally by barista team. A standard coffee cupping procedure involves deeply sniffing the coffee, then loudly slurping the coffee so it spreads to the back of the tongue.
We believe in exchanging the new ideas. We have started project about ideas and experience exchanging, on 2018 - 2019 we have collabed with Tennyson in Melbourne, Australia. We both have exchanged barista for develop our coffee skill.
Up until 2016, We start thinking; What about roasting our own coffee so we can control its quality and design the taste of our coffee to its fullest. In search of green beans, We visit near and far communities after communities of coffee farmers whose land, location and climate are best suitable for varieties of the best beans to grow.
We select families of coffee farmers of whom, however small, we can trust their commitment to devote their efforts in what they passionately do. We want to be a part of their sustainable development.
We are not just sellers and buyers. We build bonds.
From the tree to the cup,
We hope that our role as a specialty coffee roaster will connect the coffee farmers with our consumers, to revel the potential of how the specialty coffee is produced, and to give the benefits back to the local communities.
